Famous Billionaire Launches Bounty Program For Dogecoin!

 Bounty Program For Dogecoin

Dallas Mavericks owner Mark Cuban continues to support Dogecoin (DOGE) by rewarding those who spend it. The team became the first in the league to accept Dogecoin payments for both merchandise and ticket sales. Now Cuban wants to further increase sales with DOGE by adding incentives to the program.

Mavs Cryptomania program begins: Dogecoin purchases are rewarded.

The Mavs Cryptomania program provides fans with cashback for purchases made with Dogecoin at the official Maverick's online merchandise store. The program will run from August 13 to September 20. Fans can earn a $25 e-gift card when using Dogecoin to spend a minimum of $150 in a single transaction. The gift card will be sent to the buyer within one week and can only be used in the Dallas Mavericks online store. Purchases can include in-store items and tickets for suites and lower-level seats in any Mavericks home game.

Shortly after announcing the bounty program, Cuban tweeted that Mavericks has completed more than 20,000 Dogecoin transactions to date. In response to the news, Dogecoin creator Shibtoshi Nakamoto said, “As @mcuban said, if you want to support one of the first major vendors to herald DOGE for acquisitions, it's ready for you.”

Cuban has not invested much in DOGE, despite his support

Cuban, who owns Mavericks and is on Shark Tank, has been an open supporter of cryptocurrency on social media for some time now. DOGE is one of Cuban's favorite topics to discuss on Twitter and is even accused of influencing the market with his posts. This makes a recent announcement by Cuban even more confusing for many.

While discussing the total merchandise sales in the Mavericks store through DOGE, Cuban said he has less than $500 in coins. Also, as we report on Cryptokoin.com, Cuban is a huge Dogecoin proponent and stated in April that although the coin started as a joke, it “has become a digital currency” due to its increasing adoption rate. Cuban became a leading figure in crypto and blockchain technology in 2021, supporting several projects such as Ethereum-based scaling solution Polygon, NFT-focused Alethea AI, and NFT marketplace providers Genius.
